Inkjet Paper and Matte Paper

Inkjet Paper - 108gsm

Inkjet paper, also called coated paper, has a special white coating on the surface to make the surface extra white. When you print pictures or photos on inkjet paper, the colour is fantastically sharp and bright. One good thing about inkjet paper is that the colour will not fade, unlike glossy paper whereby the colour will fade when exposed to light. The water resistency for inkjet paper is much better than the normal A4 paper. People like to print flyers and brochures on inkjet paper to get an excellent effect and an appealing look.

Matte Paper - 185gsm

Matte paper is very much like inkjet paper. The only difference is the thickness. Matte paper is thicker than inkjet paper with the same type of extra white surface. Some people prefer matte paper to glossy paper for photo printing as there is no fading problem. Some use matte paper as book cover, magazine cover, greeting cards and etc. Matte paper goes very well with pigment ink. Photo printouts with this match have excellent water resistance and lightfastness. It will be the ultimate choice for people who want their photos to last for centuries as a remembrance for their next generation.

Professional gloss Inkjet papers provides the look and feel of traditional glossy photos.

The velvety texture of this semi-gloss paper gives your photos an amazingly rich quality.

For photographers seeking a flat matte surface, 12mil Pro Matte is the ideal choice. This bright white paper is perfect for images that do not require gloss.
