These are the glossy photo papers for digital photo printing and photo reproduction. Photo reproduction means you can scan your photos and enlarge it, add words, add frames or in short, you can edit your photos before printing.

Nowadays, people like to print photos themselves in their own home instead of sending them to the photo shops. The reason behind? It's more convenient and economical with the advancement in the IT world where printers for photo printing are selling at a low price. EPSON printers would be the best choice for photo printing, highly recommended for its high quality and superb colour. The only problem is the high price of the original cartridge but this problem too has been solved with the emergence of spongeless refillable cartridge (refer to Spongeless Refillable Cartridge for more details).

Basically, glossy photo papers are classified into several catogories:

1. 260gsm RC glossy photo paper

2. 230gsm glossy photo paper

3. 200gsm glossy photo paper

4. 135gsm glossy photo paper

260gsm resin coated glossy photo paper is the best in this range. It is the choice of many photo shops as it is made of 7 layers of materials instead of the normal 2 layers. 230gsm and 200gsm glossy paper are the 2 choices of home users whereas 135gsm glossy photo paper is used by those in the name card or card printing industry. However, all these glossy photo papers come in 2 sizes: A4 and 4R.

All these papers are water resistant, work well with most of the inkjet printers, especially printers using dye based ink and produce instant dry printouts. Most importantly, they are CHEAP!
